  1. Put a full tilt flattie in it and call it a hotrod. Sounds traditional as a lot of other stuff I see.....

Man....that thing is clean for what it is. I've never seen one set up like that before. I could use that this weekend. I have a couple of steps in front of the house that needs concrete patching!!

Transit Mixers all were smaller back then.Due to the fact that roads were smaller, bridges lighter and no interstates. Average size mixer was 4 yards now days 12 is normal, the engines back then just could not pull 70,000 lbs up a hill.

I didn't want to break any HAMB rules, and hope this answer doesn't either.
It is located in Billings Montana, and has three more days before sold..
Currently bid at $2250...and as mentioned it is a 1951 Ford.
    Go get it guys..
I sure would if I had the cash...

Looks like a bulldog standing his ground or guarding that edsel.Very much worth saving!!I like looking at the odder stuff,it gives me lots of idiers for art work and such.I hope it finds a good home.

  9. The Edsel is in a different position in the two images...photo guy.
Cut the drum in half, use hydraulic rams to open it to make a walk in cooker...
have a table on the other side...steps up the back....still would look like a mixer...
    but add dual pipes.....LOL

just had to put my thoughts in--i drove mixers for 30 years and they aren't called cement trucks, they're ready-mix trucks or concrete trucks. cement is just one ingredient in concrete. don't know if you're thinking about putting it back into service, but a big area of concern is that big chain that drives the drum is probably one of the most dangerous things on that truck. i've seen them come off and i've seen them break and shoot a link right thru the cab! but, there's a guy here in st. louis who restored an old Hug mixer and it really drew a lot of attention at shows! it was even featured in a magazine article or two.

put a super duty bed on it and king ranch on the fenders. naaawwwww...

just fooling. and as far as copying "Cars" with it... please. don't. do. it. too many "mater's" in existence already.

it's probably got enough wheelbase to make a racecar hauler out of.
