Any Ideas what this is from?
sorry its not for sale!
Maybe a 1937 Desoto
I think they stick out too far to be '37 DeSoto.
Read us the numbers from it. 99% of the lenses I've owned had some numbers on them somewhere.
There are no numbers, sorry !
I believe it to be a 36/37 Chrysler - Airflow lens.
The photo below shows it with the trim. HRP
^^^^^^^^^^ nailed it ^^^^^^^^^^
No. The subject lense has ribs, and the Airflow does not. There are no ribs between those chrome strips. The Airflow isn't as deep as the subject lense either.
Probably from some European car, that none of us has ever heard of over here in the States.
You're right, at first look I thought chrome strips ran between the ribs.
Note to self; have eyes checked.
Check with "The taillightKing .com
Thanks for the replies guys, I have looked at the taillight king site before and could not see one the same, it is not a euro car, you would be surprised how many US cars we have had in the UK over the years, beside this lens I have two 39 Hudson rear lenses and two 40/41 Willys all picked up at Autojumbles over here.
still looking !
