Customs Tail Light Identification

Anyone know what these tail lights are off of? My buddy has a couple pair, I though they could make some cool custom tail lights. Just curious what they are.

 

My guess would be 53-54 Pontiac station wagon. Bolt in for 53-54 Chevys if memory serves correctly.
