Classic Industries adapter SN17 according to tech has standard threads for a cable.
If you got a T5 that has a electronic sensor you can adapt to the SN17 and a cable.
It may not help with the proper gearing for your rear ratio but it is a step in the right direction.

I don't get it? The pic of that PN shows a short little cable spud. How do you get from the transmission's electric to mechanical?

If you take out the electrical sender you should see a square drive
that the SN17 will plug into. I took the sender out of mine and just found
    the SN17 .

Let us know how it works when you get it installed. I've got an electric T5 I'd love to use in a mechanical speedo car.

Please keep us informed I'd like to convert my electric to mechanical also

  6. This part is intended to allow one to screw on an electronic GM speedo signal generator to a Ford transmission that drove a mechanical speedo cable. Not the other way around.

Are you sure you have an electronic speedo T5? Show us the part you pulled out of the transmission.

We carry Classic Speed a gps based box that will run a mechanical speedometer. Do a HAMB search on Classic Speed or check it out on my website www.speedoservice.com 20161001_090718.jpg 20160922_193945.jpg
