Getting closer to pulling the trigger on something. The WC T5 even with the Astro gear set (according to them is good for 350hp), counter gear stailizer and mods for 5th I'm still right at the top of my range hp wise. I would be worried if I was doing some atomic clutch dumps and I still need an adapter pushing the trans back 1/2"??. The TKO, still has some 2 to 3 shift issues with some people (all above 6500 rpm), I can get a mid shift shifter, but a front shifter is super hard to find (or impossible). I can get it in a Chevy pattern and the gearing I need. Thanks everyone for the input.
I have a TKO 500 with the rare front shifter and have no shifting problems. I have about 3000 miles on it.
I have the TKO600 in my 55 and sometimes wish I had the mid shifter. No high rpm shifting problems on mine, yet.
Where did you get the shifter from?. I read that Fortes bought the rights and are the only ones making them, I emailed with no response.
