Dont worry, I am not here to beat this horse again. I have a buddy that is willing to do a small or maybe even large run of milled spring clips that will bolt in where the bearing retainer bolts too. Cost would probably be reasonably low, ~$40cdn + the ride. Would there be any interest in something like the photo below?
