Thanks Tony. Had the little pocket camera on the seat beside me and just took a chance. Sometimes you get lucky.

Like your avatar photo too. Just hard for me to get used to the steering coming out of that side of a rod.

Zooming in you can see the fronts are clearly 5.50R16's but I can't read anything on the rears. The article states they're 450's and 750's, but it won't be the first time a magazine was wrong.

Got a basic question and this is the best place to ask...all the T guys are here!
The fuel door on a late T cowl.
Could someone give me the width, length and basic thickness? I want to make one up to add to my cowl.
Looks kinda big and flat without it!

Lots of threads here on them, just search. If I remember correctly most guys say they ride, drive and track just like bias plies. I would take that to mean there's no advantage to them over the Firestone Deluxe Champions, just a different look.

  16. That's exactly my thoughts!.....

I've asked for info or more pictures on the original thread ('27 T's on 32 chassis) but had no replies.....

If anybody has any info on the car or more pictures I would be most grateful.....

WOW! Is that engine from a plane or something? It looks like it has air cooled jugs on it? Any imformation would be neat thanks.

Yes, it's a Ranger aircraft engine. As I recall it was running inverted in the roadster.

While searching for an engine for the A roadster project, I came across this T for a price I couldn't pass up. Took the Cadillac out to put in the A, and got a flathead for a good price to put in this. Going to do a simple, low budget early style build.

Looks like real T potensil, but those rearend arms aren't even going to hold a flathead v8

Don't worry. There is MUCH to be changed on that car. Such as the trans crossmember that is made of angle iron, and is already bent before the car was even driven! It wasn't put together by the most talented fabricator. It will be saved. For what I got it for, I can still justify all the work it needs.
