Im rebuilding my bucket this winter and i want to get some new headers that look wild.
    Dont want the sidepipes anymore.
    Im going for 60s style.
Dont know what i want so i need some isperation.
The only thing i know is that they are going to be white, and i dont want lakester headers.
Been thinking aboute zoomies but that might look lame on my car that doesent have a bad ass engine.

    So give me some insperation!!!!!!!!!!

The pic is from this summer,it doesent look exactly the same but you get an idea.

well since there's really no room under the car , lake style and sprint car style are the only real choice. Zoomies would require eight baffles.

I'm sure you have more room that you think under the car for an exhaust system.
I've seen many T buckets running rams horns.

Personally, I think what you have or a variation on what you have looks better than some of these other ideas.

Some times change just for the sake of change isn't an improvement.

Although a pair of stainless tight tucks and polished stainless pipes running all the way back under the car might be interesting and get the leg burners out of there.

Fender well headers don't do anything for me if they aren't in a fender well, other than mentally ask, Why?

I kind of like headers similar to what you have in the pictures but made with longer, "softer," radius bends and with the front two pipes on the inside and the rear two on the outside.
That makes the pipe stagger, well, staggered.

I did kindof a drag style that I saw, and made the baffles myself. The louvered baffles really took the edge off.

    Keep the headers.

Lose the valve covers, the air cleaner and the carb for that matter.

Three dueces or dual quads (Rochester 4 Jet card or old AFBs).

    And skinnier front tires.

    Just my .02.

    BTW nice car.

Great looking bucket......this was mine....I made 3 different sets, but these were my favorite. Had 13" motorcycle baffles-sounded very good. the white paint is Dupli-Color header paint. They held up better than anything else..cleaned up nice and no problems touching up.

How about something like this? VW baffles inside. 3-1/2" turnouts.

  21. Yep the air cleaner and valve covers make a difference even with the side pipes.

  24. One of my favorites from the 60s -- with just a little cutting and welding on what you already have it wouldn't be too hard

I agree with all of that. Real sweet T bucket!

  27. The 'torsion T' (post #25) is in my opinion the raddest T Bucket EVER! those pipes put it over the top!

Nope,i wont change the covers or anything.
The valve covers are old M/T and i like em.
Three dueces just dont do it for me on this car, maby dual quads.
Im going for a little later 60s style.
Resently repainted the car in a 1964 cadillac Eldorado blue something metallic with some flake in it.
