Hot Rods T bucket and modified Ideas, info and pics

So i have decided that i am going to start a T build or a roadster build and i am gathering some inspiration. I have found some photos that i am liking but would like to find some more...I have looked threw most of the modifieds and roadsters and some of the T's and have found some really nice stuff. I like the look of some 60's rods and i really like lakes style cars also. So im just wondering if you guys have any other cool shots of some roadster's T's and Modifieds... here are a few that i like..

also been looking at steel v. glass bodies




this is my favorite one so far and this is the only picture i have so if anyone has more pictures of this first little rod i would appreciate it i love the stance of this thing!

 

This is my garage built, all steel body, lakes modified. People say that it is period correct. I just built it to match the picture in my head. Flathead 59AB, Camaro T-5 and 1934 Banjo rear end. Lots of pictures in my albums.

The first pic posted, and it again above in post 11. Using later banjo support bones for rear ladder bars, bent, tweaked coil overs

 

This one is mine. 29 roadster pickup body skins from Brookville, built my own sub frame to mount the body to the 32 frame rails. 5 inch narrow grill shell, 3 inch out of the cowl, lengthen doors 1 inch lengthen the rear quarter panels 6 inches on the top, 2 on the bottom. Early Halibrand mag quick change, T5 tranny, Ford 2 liter Zetec engine with Hilborn electronic injection. 5.00 x 15 fronts and 8.20 x 18 rears. 2-1/2 inches of ground clearance. Over 15,000 miles on it.

A very affordable work-in-progress I saw about 10 years ago. I Don't recall seeing it finished but it would have been decent, considering its very nice start.


This classically proportioned '26-'27 RPU is as good as it gets, and so right that you wouldn't have to apologize for duplicating it.

Smack02 just as Don said I built my own frame and about 90% of everything else. The car is my first build but I was a mechanic/fabricator in my work for many years. To answer your question the frame is 1.5" x 3" rectangle tubing lay out on the garage floor. If you are not sure of your welding skills do not try to build your frame, your life and others on the road are at risk.

 

Don, your T was just perfect. Very tough looking car.

Now THAT is a modified. Congrats on work well done! What body is that?

 

Striper's is Model A pickup. Mine is a 27T cowl, 25 doors, a 1919 rear panel (narrow) and custom made sail panels.If you look closely you will see that they have been fabricated to make it look like a cut off phaeton.

Finished this in Nov '11 not exactly traditional ,but gets a lot of comment...Ford Turbo 2.3 /T5 combo

 

Looks like it would give a Caterham 7 a run for its money - very nice.
