The wipers on my `63 T-Bird are operated with a hydraulic motor which won't shut off. They worked (shut offf) until I replaced the fluid line that ran from steering box. The cable is connected and seems to be moving the arm on the motor. Any experts out there? Thanks

  2. Hmmm, My '62 has electric wipers and my '59 Edsel has vacuum wipers. :dunno:

`58-60 T-Birds were vacuum, `61-62 were electric and then they went to hydraulic in `63 so that they could be adjustable to any speed depending on how much the valve was open. I ended up just taking it out and opening it up. The plunger valve was sticking so I cleaned it and put it back together. It’s working for the time being.
