I just picked up a T-10 tranny for my project. It didn't come with a shifter. I saw lots of shifters at a swap meet but they didn't have the tranny brackets on them. They did have some tranny brackets for them but how do I know which one is for a T-10 and not a Muncie or Saginaw?
This is for a '79 T-10 from a Trans Am. I am going to a swap meet this weekend and I would like to know what I am looking for. Thanks

No help on the Hurst site. I thought maybe someone on here could post a pic of the bracket that they know works so I would know what I was looking for.

Stick a piece of paper up against the side of the tranny, mark where the holes are, fold it up and stick it in your pocket. then when you see a shifter you can pull that out and make sure everything lines up! :)
