So is it one day for the old school or the whole weekend, I know before it was just a Friday night.

 

I'm trying to get back to Missouri for a school reunion and see the family the week of July 2nd through the 11th. Money will be tight but sure am thinking about it.
I want to take the bucket with me back home and make a side trip down to Paragould, Ark to George Rays Wild Cat Strip and get a pass on film.

Hey Swade - I believe that it is going on all weekend. Check out the link in posting #1. At the bottom, it shows "events" all weekend.

 

The first year they did the "Ol Skool Round up", it was just on Friday, Last year the did Friday in the same spot, then moved it to try and keep it going for saturday. This year, the have a dedicated spot ALL WEEKEND....

This has been a part of the show for a couple of years now. It's one of my favorite places to hang out at the Nats.

 

I live just Southwest of Syracuse. I'll be at the Gene Winfield Seminar on Thursday, and at the show Fri, Sat, and Sun........
We'll set up a meet & greet so soon as I hear from those that
are coming. Saturday usually works the best. Everyone is at
the show in Saturday.

I will be going down from Ottawa way. Bad news a friend of mine who got one of the dirty dozen last year with a purple 49 Merc truck. Was just diagnosed with cancer and wont make it this year. So I need to take lots of pics this year so he can see what was new.

 

I remember that Truck. Send my best wishes out to your friend.
Tell him to give it Hell ! ! ! He's got a lot more cruzin' to do !!

i went last year for the first time. Had a blast, it was the first actual show i brought my truck to. It pissed antifreeze the whole way across the fairgrounds. (Thats why i won the "worst rat rod" award)

Note to anyone with overheating issues, The show is at the total opposite end of the fairground that the entry gate is. Try and get in early to avoid the retards blocking your path and telling you that your overheating.

Went to Bob Barkers last night and got an invite to the Old School Roundup.

 

The weekend is finally (almost) here! Can't wait to see the cars start streaming into town....

Word has it the the cruise in at the Gander Mountain in Cicero will be a good spot to cruise by.

 

VOODOO ROD & CUSTOM see you there. It appears that the "Old Skool Roundup" will be located right near the "show car entrance/exit" where they check for window stickers/passes before entering the fairgrounds.

i heard friday is the big day. Me and another guy will be leaving from Rome at 8-8:30 friday if anyone wants to ride out with us. We will be taking the back roads and avoiding the thruway.

Were meeting at Fort Stanwix in Rome, then taking 46/49 to Sylvan Beach Rt 13 to Rt 31 through Bridgeport hoppin on 481 then onto 690 to the show.

How much is it to enter with a car? I searched the site up and down and can't find it anywhere... Just trying to budget my weekend here.
