Sydney hot rodder fatal crash

I didnt know him but my thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.

A man has died in a car crash at Minchinbury on Saturday.
Police said that at 3pm, a custom-made Ford opentop hotrod was headed south along Minchin Drive when it left the road and struck a tree.
The 41-year-old male driver died at the scene, police said.
His passengers, two boys aged eight and 10, sustained minor injuries and were taken to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead for treatment.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

Very sad news. It is bad when anyone is killed in a car accident but it really hits home when it's a rodder. RIP

Sad news , fellow ANZAC'S, sorry for the driver, good news the kid's are ok ,not the publicity NSW needs right now, with the Government Goof's wanting to make it harder to enjoy the freedom that Hot Rodders have ........

 

Apparently had a heart attack at the wheel, kids are Ok.

This sucks. My first wife was killed, leaving me and my two boys behind. God Bless them and their family!!!

 

Never good to hear about a fellow rodder getting killed but very thankful to know the kids are fine. Our prayers go out to the family.

 

seeing that it was a heart attack, and not the vehicle that caused the crash, this might actually show some good for some of the strict rules they have down there-since the passengers survived...
regardless what a horrible tragedy for those boys and that family.
