Hello Florida gearheads! I will start a trip in Florida end of January this year and stay for some weeks. Any gearheads around there who know where I can get parts for Buick 49, Ford 39, Chevy 49? Museums, events and so on to take a look? Other interesting things which I have to see? Is in Daytona some hystoric racing going on? Any help and every input is welcome. the kaiser-devroux show is jan 29th at the sarasota square mall. Over 2500 cars showed last year. It is the largest free one day automotive event I have ever been to. Over the next couple of months there is tons of automotive events. Ground hog gala, Billetproof. There are smaller events everywhere. where are you going to be during your stay?

Looking for 39 Ford gearbox which will fit a French Flathead. I will also feel the glory Daytona Sand. Cheers Dany

Hi Dany, I have a bunch of '39 Ford parts such as sheet metal, some cosmetic stuff and bits of dashboard pieces. I don't have a trans but do know a couple of fellows that might be able to help. If you want a complete listing of south west Florida events,contact, [email protected] , and ask to be put on his E-mail list. You will get a weekly event schedual every Sunday night. This week there are 18 events in our area. Events are listed in citys from Naples up to Sarasota. I go to about 3 events per week,mostly cruise nights. I am in Punta Gorda,and travel to Fort Myers,North Fort Myers,Cape Coral,Port Charlotte,and Englewood. This Saturday I will be at Muscle Car City,with my Hemi Duce,for a show.
