The final assembly of my Willys is done, here are some pics.
You, sir, should be very proud to have built such a beautiful Willys.
My Willys is now street legal in Sweden and insured, feels great!!
Here is a gasser Willys coupe that is a simular color to yours.
I have been driving my Willys this summer it has worked really well except for some heat problems.
But when I replaced the 14" PermaCool fan with a 16" Spal the heat problems where gone, this fan moves air! Have started with the interior, the kickpanels are done and I am waiting for the vinyl for the trunk.
Real good looking.
The trunk is done except for the carpet
That is a real beauty
Tip o' the hat to you sir! A fine, fine ride!
From America to Argentina to Sweden to The HAMB - quite a journey!!!
Thanks for your comment, and indeed an interesting journey
beautiful job and beautiful Willys !!!
And I apologize. I clicked on the wrong post to make my comment. It's a beautiful car too, but this thread is about yours, which I think is outstanding.
The carpet in the trunk is there and I have made cover that hides the speakers.
That must be the BEST 40 Willys in all of Sweden.
Thanks and I guess you are right, I think its the only 40 Willys registered in Sweden
Well there you go I was right LOL.
The headliner is done, not perfect but the best I can do. It looks gray on the pics but its black.
Headliners can be a pain, you did good Tomas
If you don't like the wrinkles by the back window I THINK you can get rid of them with a heater like a hairdryer. I read some posts on the HAMB about it and I'm sure there are some online somewhere that may help you out. BUT it really doesn't look all that bad.
The door panels are done and I think they look very good.
Yes they do look very good.
the package shelf and the panels behind the seat are finished
Beautiful car, you should be very proud!
Thank you Kiwi Kev this is the best I can do yes I am proud.
The carpet is there and the door sills. The lower door seals are Ford 38-39 I have no idea how it is done on a stock Willys.
What a beauty.
True Swedish craftsmanship showing up in this beautiful Willys!
