swaybar on a straight axel ???

  1. Anybody ever try to add a sway bar to a straight front axel .I wanted some ideas on doing one on my f1 ford truck. I did one on the rear and now thinking on one for the front.....IDEAS:confused:

    Can't hurt can it, I presume handling would improve somewhat?

    Yep they work good on pickups. Stops some body roll.I'm looking at using one off a '86 Ford Trader on the front of my AA Hot Rod truck. They have a lot longer distance on the sides than a car one.

    They came stock on 47-55.1 (and i assume 55.2-59) chevy/gmc panels and suburbans. Very simple "U" like shape. Might be able to use one of those on a F1.
