Event Coverage Swap meet/show Gadsden Alabama June 11=12

This weekend (June 11-12) they will resume the swap meet at the Noccalula Falls park in Gadsden Alabama. I usually find something I don't need there, but buy anyway.
Not too many swap meets in this area so I hope there is a good turn out.

I will be heading out Saturday to see what kind of stuff I can find. Hopefully the weather wont be too bad.

They told me that registration ended Thursday. In my opinion....that ain't no way to run a swap meet. It has changed some since the city took it over from the car club.

 

I think the vendors ended Thursday.
But looks like registration for a car is good today and Saturday

Well, not a lot of HAMB friendlies but lots of parts. Found out one of the big used junk guys lives close to the house.

The 40 Ford truck ran a flat head.straight axle and banjo rear.

 

I was quite fond of the pickup as was my 6 year old, she wanted to get inside and check it out

 

Yeah, not too HAMB friendly this year. About half as big as usual too. I don't have a Camaro or a C10 so there wasn't much of interest to me.

 

I made a couple new friends with junk yards.
I’m happy.
