    Killer! It does look like a cast part. I've been reading about these engines and found that they do have pressure to the rods. That will help you keep it together. A big improvement over As & Bs.

    Thanks for the picks Clark
    I started with an aftermarket T bucket frame project already in progress and the rear suspension is one thing I need to change.

    Hey, Clark;

    That grill shell looks *really* nice. You did a good job cutting & trimming.

    It reminds me of the Fronty shell, w/a hint of Miller. :) .

    I like!

    Dodge/Ply spindles on the D.B. axle, Clark? Great choice of rails, those Essex...
    Did you bend up the lower 'stiffeners'?
    I looked long and hard for Essexes, settled for '29-'32 Chevy rails.
    The rear of the 9n: It looks like a '32-'48 trans pattern, is it?

    Mike ...Ford spindles. Skidmarks here on the hamb reamed the axle to fit the Ford kingpins.
    The stiffeners were stock....too cool. Had to leave them on.
    Actually the motor takes a ring like a later flathead and them your standard flathead Trans bolts up. Right now I've got an open drive three speed. May go with the s10 Trans later

  27. Coming out real nice Clark. Really like the steering box mount you made, along with all the other neat tricks on rear suspension and other areas.

    Dude!! so cool!! I can remember reading about Graham superchargers in my dad's old Motors Manuals when I was a kid. Thanks for building this rod!

    P.S. the look-like-its-cast steering box mount fooled me 'till you said it was fabbed...super cool!

    Had to come up with something to get the throttle linkage high enough for the supercharger. Well I cut up a few Ford gas pedals and am using one as a bellcrank.
