  1. Just wow....to be able to get up close and personal with this piece of history was amazing...owner wasn’t fazed by the crap weather, said he they used to wash it right...unreal getting to crawl around it after reading about em, seeing an original pedigreed raced Thunderbolt was killer...

    VW bus back end grafted onto the back of a 56 ford Coe:eek:...Pretty cool now anyway looking back.
    Wander if thats a barn door VW made famous (at least to me) by American pickers:D

    Ed Miller was one of the honorees at last weekend's NHRR in Bowling Green and told some stories about racing this car which he purchased from Arlen Vanke. Miller used it to win the 1967 World Finals (along with George Hurst's $10K bonus) in the debut season of the Super Stock category.

  28. The big money dodge posted above is the old ramchargers car. It was the first car to get a late model hemi. It is currently being restored.
