did it take place this past weekend in Indy? I was at GG in Columbus. can't believe Super Chevy schedules the same weekend as Goodguys. Super Chevy shows are not well attended as in the past
A couple of guys from our car club who have been to everyone of them said that the number of show cars was very minimal......Swap meet was ok.....rain off and on, but shouldn't have been enough to keep the cars away.....They said they got there around 8:15am and counted 52 show cars. Sounds like it's down to pretty much nothing.
I live right by IRP, and it was pretty dismal when I went by there. There seemed to be very few large vendors, and the number of trailers parked where the show used to be full of show cars and vendors was overwhelming. I used to attend this show every year as a participant or spectator and it was huge. It is pretty sad to see what it has come to. It is not a fun show to attend with friends because you cannot park together (unless you are all in the same model of car) or cruise the grounds like at Goodguys. It even seemed like the number of drag cars on the east side pits were down.
