I am trying to find a color close to Sungate Ivory (the grill in the picture below) in an available rattle can. Has anyone had any luck or know something thing close? It is white with a slight yellow/cream color. I want to paint my wheels it and want a easy touch up color if needed down the road.

  6. I used Cub Cadet tan from Tractor Supply Co. Might be made by Valspar.

I like it in the pic. How is it holding up? I might have to check out tractor supply.

  8. It's not bad. Cleans up decent. I sprayed it 4 years ago and haven't had to touch it up. I may end up spraying my wheels that color too.

I picked up a can off the paint it was Cub Cadet white. I sprayed 3 coats on a old motorcycle fender I have to test it. I am going to do one part it and one part wimbledon white as I am on the fence about the two. Did you use any clear over it? I could not find at that they carried.

Napa will make custom rattle cans for you if you have a paint code.

  11. No i didn't use any clear. Ended up looking at my can in the garage and it says 'Cub Cadet Beige.'

Norwell is right though, you can get custom rattle cans and they're pretty good for solid colors. Haven't tried them in a metallic.
