Sunday the 11th Cruise to the Broiler SOCAL

It was really a lot of fun. Learned so much about Downey City Politics today. Typical corruption, but in the end it looks like everyone will be happy. Nice--doesn't usually turn out that way--especially here in Long Beach.

And that was my wife's Studebaker pickup, by the way!

Thanks to all who helped avoid a tragedy and breathed new life into this place! Maybe I'll come down there some day and have a Coke [tm].

After the stay at Johnnys,I went to the old McDonalds on Florence and Lakewood. Haven't been there in years...
