    It's Sunday again, 10/8/17, and I finally finished this Lindberg '40 Coupe. The kit has a nice body
    but a really cheesy front suspension, I had to jury rig something but it worked out. Then I painted it
    with the Krylon paint I used on my patio set and finished it off in Krylon clear. I was going for a sort of early '60s look with a jacked up front end and the '57 Corvette wheel covers.

  6. Great job (Quick85) I been watching everyone's builds. I haven't had the time to do a new build.I hope to start one soon. So for now, here's a few old deuce' s. I do mean very old. Thanks, Ron. I dig seeing your old builds. Hell, I'm envious that you still have them!

    Here's an old AMT model, which I recently tore up, cleaned, painted and gave some detail brush up;
    1925 model T roadster pickup;
    [IMG]
    It's simple and easy built, but I like "the feeling"- IMHO it brings about the very simplicity and functionality of model T as it was...

    Well looks like everyone keeping busy....had some device (tablet) problem's keeping me offline got a new one ...so I'm back... managed to get the 57 Chevy put back together after slicing about 3/8" out of the middle of it...went pretty good... tried a new way of gluing and filling the seam .it worked out good...after the gluing of the parts set up I was going to use my soldering iron with a spade tip and melt some parts tree plastic into the seam for filler but it was not working...so I used a candle got the plastic burning and let it dribble into the seam about a inch or two at a time and after a little file work it came out good in the picture that's after the file and sanding and a touch of spot filler, that was mostly sanded away, a shot of primer..... OK for roughing out now on to some more mods.......[IMG][IMG][IMG]

    Started this one probably 20 years ago... did the fenders then chopped it... didn't turn out good ....started another cab it's working out better so now I have to move the fender's to the new cab....plan is traditional kustom...rework rear fenders to go with front fender style...duel side mount spare tires with continental covers mounted into side of bed so there flush with the fenders...rolled rear pan with six 58 Impala tail lights...that's the start anyways....see what happens...[IMG][IMG]

    I finished up the rear suspension on my 29 roadster. Decided to do a final mockup before I paint everything.

  23. Here's a "parts box" Model A roadster pickup with a scratchbuilt frame I've been working on for years. Still not done and I used the wheels and tires on something else.
