Suicide doors for a '41 poncho??

What do you guys think about suicide doors for a '41 Pontiac Coupe? I'm playing around with it. The doors are pretty heavy and about the size of a refrigerator. Am I nuts, or has this got potential?

 

you asked.... .... I would never do that to a car that never came that way. This is just my opinion....I just think it looks out of place.

 

suicide doors are a bunch of work for no gain.

 

There's a reason they stopped using them. I hate getting in and out of them.

 

Bad idea, although not as bad as Lambo door hinges...

Dare to dream. Why not swap in a real motor so it's actually a hot rod and not a borderline rat rod.

The car isn't the least bit HAMB friendly except for the original year it was built.
