Brockman can no longer make 1 3/4" muffler ends, (die broke) any suggestions on alternative muffler, can be glass or steel with 18" body with a good "hot rod" sound?

There is no substitute for Brockmans. :D Simply use reducers, found at auto parts stores, either clamped or welded on the muffler ends.

  4. There is no substitute for Brockman Mellowtones, my wife says you'll have to switch to penny loafers.

I had a feeling you guys were going to say that. I have 2" Brockman steel packs but have decided to use 1 3/4" pipe; I tried to find reducers on line but couldn't, will keep searching. Meant to say I couldn't find any reducers that went from to 2" to 1 3/4".

Any good muffler shop can make up reducers for you.
I would go when the shop isn't busy and they will probably make them while you wait!

Take your exhaust tubing to an exhaust shop and have them expand it to fit into the 2 inch mufflers.

Every shop with an exhaust tubing bender, has a tube expander. It is part of the machine.

I have a 2" tube muffler, on my 1-3/4" system. I just burped out the 1-3/4" tube to 2", when I built it up.
