    Are those back windows all fixed? Unusual design, were there advertised advantages?

    Anyone ever mount a gun turret back there? :)

  13. My Dad had a '51 conv, I learned to drive in it. Subdivision was under construction and debris blocked sewer system. It didn't stallout in the water, side street was not constructed yet and that is where we parked our cars. Wish I still had it.

    Wow this brings back good memories. I didn't have my license yet and a guy in town had one just like this with a supercharger. The center of our little town was shaped like a bowl and every night he would start at one end of town and you could hear the echo of him coming into town at high revs myself and all my buddies would all be waiting for him and then he was in a high speed pass right though the center of town.

    The sound of that car and the supercharger singing would give me instant goosebumps it was so glorious echoing off the few buildings in town.

    It's been 57 years since but will never forget that sound. :)
