    let's see what your driving, building or had

    Studebaker's, Stock, Custom, Projects, Bonneville, Dry Lakes, Landspeed, you name it

    got a ride in my cousins 54 Commander coupe never forgot it, loved the look still do

    going to find a 53 coupe to build, make the 3,500 mile journey to Bonneville again

    past cars
    56 Skyhawk 289 V8 automatic from Long Beach

    36 Dictator I owned back in 65 and the
    37 President I have now after museum wouldn't sell the 36 back to me.
    Also owned a 50 bullet nose but don't have picture of that one.

  10. How about an almost zero progress project '53 Commander.

    Changed directions a couple of times but now back on track, I think. A little sketchy history and building a new history based on an old identity.

    Anyway not much to look at but its a Stude.

    my pops 41 commander is a current ecta record holder in XO/PRO at a blistering 77 mph.

    the guy wanted $4.500 for the 53 i bought. he wouldnt budge off the price. my pop said: where the hell you gonna find another one around here? i bought it.

    Ed, did I ever tell you the story about trying to buy mine?? The whole dude who had it got locked up thing...Long story short, it took me 12-14 months with good behavior to finally get it...

    Here is what an 800 dollar Stude looks like if you buy it from a dude who just got out of jail the day before...

    Rudebaker sure MOON ME :D you bet i remember your 55 coupe you have a nice car
    glad i could help bringing the parts down to you, i ran all over my home state that trip

    Just pulled the trigger tonight bought me a 53 Stude coupe it's the one on the trailer in my album the Montana car just need a good front clip and it will be looking good to me
    (with a lot of work) Bonneville here we come in a couple of years

    here is one i just picked up,,,,,,,,,, its a 55 1/2 fact v8 3 speed stick with overdrive runs xlnt some cancer issues that can be fixed.....i like it ..........her name is the ugly duck
