Ok here's my dilemma. I bought a 1929 Erskine...in boxes. I need some good close up pics of the bumpers front and rear. In particular where they mount to the frame. I have some pieces but I'm not sure if they are correct. I would also like to know how the grill shell emblem actually attaches to the shell. And finally some clear pics of the engine, both sides. I can't find anything on line that is clear enough for what I need. Thanks, Ed
I don't know the answers but I bet someone here does: AACA Forums AACA forums, scroll down to the Studebaker page.
Thanks Dizzy. I bought this car in Elkhorn Wi. I've looked on Carnut.com but I need closer pics of the bumpers. Thanks guys for the links to the other Studebaker sites. I'll give them a look.
Wow I just saw this thread, that is my dad's old Erskine we sold at his auction last fall. That thing is making the rounds!
Wildwilly68 if you are talking about the one that I have pictured, it was stored in a shed at a junkyard since the '50's until I dragged it home.
Actually I was talking about the one AeroMonte has posted, it went from central Illinois to Wisconsin to Missouri in less than a year.
There is an Erskine in my area that I often see at cruise nights. Don't know his name. Next time I see him I'll take some pics.
