stromberg help

    Rebuilding a couple 97s that are both in realy good shape except one of them has stripped threads in the needle and seat. Just wondering if anyone had a fix for that. Thanks Greenracer

    The hot rod company has the thread repair inserts look under alliance vendors.

    Be Careful when you drill the hole for the tap, it must be straight and the tap must go in straight. You might have to build a jig for the body..
    The Hot Rod Company's are fine, don't leave much face for the gasket to seal..I would get the neoprene gasket for a good seal..Vintage Speed has them or make your own..
