Anybody ever see a Stromberg with a vacuum port like this. It doesn't have the 97 on it but it looks like a 97 in every other way. Just above where the 97 would be is 1-1
Yessir... They were sold as replacements for late 40's, early 50's Ford flatheads using Holleys with the Loadamatic distributors. Sold at Sears, Western Auto, Pep Boys and some dealerships. Also, that's a vacuum takeoff... If you disassemble it, you'll see that the body is plumbed for venturi vacuum with corresponding plumbing in the base. If you're rebuilding it, be sure to punch a small hole in the gasket. New gaskets don't have that little hole.
