There was a very long "Gold Chain" at those prices for parts !!!!!
These folks must be losing their house or both House and job at these prices !!!!! 50 years at this hobby and never seen anything like this !!!! Sooo sad !!!!!! No little Guys anymore.

Nice pictures, thanks for sharing. Prices are always high at National events, you should have seen the prices at LARS. Most of those guys haul their stuff back home or come way down if they need the money.

  8. WOW! nice coverage. Thanks for posting.
I'd really like to have that tank at the swap meet.

Just because he did not waste a bunch of band width on vehicles that did not INTEREST HIM ???

With the thousands of vehicles there ... he showed a small fraction of what was there. He posted what he likes and what he thought other would like. :) :D I enjoyed his photo presentation.

Just how many broke down, half finished and poorly engineered vehicles can we stand here on the HAMB. IMHO ... it is traditional to want a nice, finished and well detailed ride. Judging by others previuos statements ... they enjoyed his photos also.

    THANKS ... to ... the-rodster for posting !!

Add me to that list. That's a nice well rounded view at what was there. Cars can actually be built that don't require fizz can black primer, rust or a 10.00 Mexican blanket.

Thanks for a decent look at what was available at the swap meet complete with prices (and as someone said a lot those guys are hoping to get rich on that tin and probably packed it back home once again). I'd just like to have a dollar for every guy who looked that maroon coupe body over during the run and tried to decide if it could be repaired.

    Yup, I was one.

Couldn't decide if it was twisted or not, still, in the right hands it could be a cheap way to get into a 34 coupe.
