Hot Rods strange looking flathead ford v8

    this strange old early flatty has been laying out int the junkyard for decades. ive never seed one with the sides welded up??? which they look great...... but why? 20181130_160326.jpg

    neat. though according to the other guy after that say its early 37 only. in april 37 they switched to all cast. so that would make this fairly rare to find today. more that likely the block is now shot if it wernt already before it was pulled. but itd still make a nice table display. next spring i will have to see if i can get it apart.

    It's 37 only. I ran a 38-39 block for awhile, 40 block now. If it didn't leak before it was pulled, it would now. Yeah, lots of 60 coffee tables, lamps. Should be a Stromberg 81 on there but looks like it's munched.
