Now we're talking! A very good motor
that deserves a lot more credit!

  4. I tend to agree, 223 is a very good engine. Currently running one in my '54.

I have been tempted lately to replace the 235 in my 37 Chevy p/u with a V8,I have found a 57 Olds J-2 motor but I think it will get too costly to drop it in so it will most likely stay six powered. My 235 has some noises but have a extra 235 that is supposed to have low miles and been watching for a 261,since I have spent alot of time to make the 235 look like a 216 it would be a shame to stop now.

Great post on inliners. I'm in the process of building a 292 for my 56 chevy. I've got a couple of questions.
Just purchased a Clifford intake. Planning on running a for barrel. Which would you recommend? Also where did you purchased the carb linkage. Headers which ones are you running? Thanks JT
