Yeah, I know, but collecting old speed equipment can develop into such an addiction that you may have paid some ex-CIA operative to breach my security system and fly it out to you on Air Force One! It's funny that I happen to have each valve cover you named. I also have one with SPECIAL cast in the center, and it's got threads for a threaded oil cap. I've also got a GMC McGurk that I traded an Offenhauser dual intake for when the previous owner found out it was two inches too long for his 235.

Does anyone know if Edmunds Made Valve covers and Side Covers for these engines? If so I sure would like to find some to match my intake.

Edmunds made valve covers, but I've never seen (or even heard mention of) a side cover for 216 or 235-261. Good luck finding an Edmunds valve cover; I've got one that I bought twenty years ago, and I've seen a grand total of two others since.

I think I sold one of the valve to the mistgreen guy a couple years ago. Boy, if I had known then what I know now, he would have paid for it.

I can't believe that I'm posting the first pics of the 3 carb McGurk intake. Bought it off egay a few months back for my '47 truck. I think it was probably for a GMC originally but it's going on a 235 with custom made 90* elbows. Patrick's is re-making the Howard GMC 5-carb intake and they are alot better quality. Other than having Patrick's cast into the bottom of the plenum they look the same, and cost half of the ones I've seen for sale.
