Yeah, the inventory is much different .... I have been looking for a set of 7s and 8s wide OEM steel 15s and they just dont make them anymore ... smoothies yes, OEM with slots, no!
Has their service improved ?
Oh, no doubt! Cut back on the OEM slotted stock and employ more counter guys that know their stuff!
From behind the walls:
"O.K., guys...no more slotted OEM for the Chevy guys...Push the smoothies."
How that business ran down is.....
Oops! Might be political...
Not for me it hasnt. That company was a good resource for too many years and all of a sudden the owner dies and the business is sold to people with different ideas.
Their reputation was in free fall for several years.
it's not a recent thing. My bad experience with their customer service was way back in 99. So yes years of bad service.
I got a pair of OE slots for my 59 a couple of years ago. Good service & fast ship.
BTW - ask for the "milner" wheels
Of course everyone will start flinging shit becuase that's how these threads go
Had some wheels made up at Stockton wheel earlier this year.Great service/ They were done on time /good quality. tex1935
