Looks like another nice build! Is that deck lid a leftover from the one that went to Sweden? Bob

  4. Off to a great start, wondering what tire was cut with?
I tried using a grinder on a tire i had to remove from 1928 Hudson wheels.
Never again, it worked, but was very messy.

  5. yeah, a smooth one went to sweden.

sawzall, it was one very hard tire and the first time i ever had luck cutting one off.

  6. Nice clean cut there, wish I had taken pics of my effort. :D

I hope the snow holds off for you guys, the deck lid hints at an interesting build, and I'm keen to watch.

  7. the old paint is coming off that deck lid and this will be a super deep, extra dark, ridiculously expensive, mirror straight, black paint job.............or maybe just shoot some black on it.

  8. First tire I've ever seen cut off that easy! That deck lid would look nice on my roadster:rolleyes: Think he would miss it?

When I cut tires off rims I put a tire iron in between the tire and rim just so I don't nick it. Bob
