    Looks good. That's about the same that I did on my 35 Ford PU and it felt great. I used a Double U joint which required two support bearings to get a little better alignment, but you'll know if you need it or not once you drive it a couple of times. 1935 Ford PU Firewall.jpg

    Curious what length column did you use it might be the way you took the picture but yours seems to be farther from the dash then mine was.

    You do nice work.
    This is probably not news to you but I tell everyone that will listen to me to "dimple" drill and countersink the set screw locations WHEN YOU ARE SURE YOU ARE DONE with the mocking up process and put a drop of Loctite small screw threadlocker (or equivalent) on the set screw/jamnut threads to guard against them backing out.
    I also like to use some form of locknut on the support bearing threads.

    Thanks, I have been thinking about the best way to keep that support bearing tight. I couldn’t mount it as close to the u joint as I would have liked but the exhaust collector was too close.

    Yep that explains that my column was 28 inches long and i used a 1 inch dish steering wheel fit me perfect. Thanks

    I had IDIDIT build mine at 24 inches if I remember correctly, and a flat steering wheel.
