I have a street rod equipped with a GM steering coupler that the rubber seal/cup is missing. This exposes the joint to dirt and water. I have found what looks like the seal on line. It sets at a 30 degree angle which I suspect is to great of an angle. I also suspect this is why the seal is gone. Should I replace the seal or purchase a after market coupler?

Pretty sure those stock joints weren't made for 30 degrees. I'd replace it with a new Borgeson joint.

An idea that may work for you.
Om a jeep Cherokee, the Los square one. Not a grand Cherokee. The splines are the same as a gm on both ends. It's adjustable to length, and takes all the slop out of the collumn.

I think the angle caused the seal to split and this is the root to my problem. The Borgeson is a lot nicer looking. Thanks

I like the Borgeson combination universal and steering dampener coupler.
