Picked this up yesterday for my model A. From the research I've done, with the deep dish wheel its either a 56' or a 57' - 60'? Appears to be passenger car with the horn ring and all, but boxes should be the same as the truck boxes? I've heard the later columns are an inch or two shorter than the early f100 ones and work well for an A build with a "flatter" steering wheel.

    Thanks!

It looks to me that you have a F100 truck box with a 56 deluxe car wheel. The spline for the wheel is the same. The 56 wheel was deeper than the other F100s due to the big safety campaign from the factory in 56. That is a car wheel on a truck column. I always wondered why the 56 truck box was favored back in the day. I finally figured out that the shorter column was better for a hotrod.
