Technical steering box I.D.

    i picked this up and have no idea what it's from. was sitting on an old drag car chassis, it reads T13481FC. it's froze up, but if it's worth resurrecting i'll use it for my T project.

    Looks pretty light duty like a golf cart. My dad has one similar, i wouldn't use it on a car.

    it's fairly small, the case looks aluminum too. i was interested in it for a dry lake style '23 model T (light weight). i thought jeep at first.

    It's a Ross-built for something light like an industrial truck (one used inside a factory) or maybe a golf cart. Ross made steering gears for everything imaginable-even combines. Probably would have worked on a digger but definitely not recommended for the street (unless it's a Crosley). They are a bitch to reverse (if needed).

    yup, you guys are right. looks like it's for a little tractor called a power king. thanks for the input, i appreciate it very much.
