Event Coverage Steel In Motion Photos here...

Summer has finally arrived in the Carolinas and with it comes the annual edition of Steel In Motion, the popular event for traditional hot rods and customs. Each year in May Union County Dragway in Union SC becomes the home track for one of the largest gatherings of its kind on the east coast.

This year was no exception. I managed to get lost on the way there and went about 30 miles out of my way...so I got there late. Not to worry, the SC countryside is pretty this time of year and I enjoyed the new scenery. Speaking of scenery, here's some of what I saw at SIM.

That 2nd pic from the top of the powerhouse A Sedan is especially cool capturing that rad on the right angle to see right through it...

Is it me or does it seem like it gets hotter every year? Still had a good time though!
