Event Coverage Steel In Motion 5/19/2012 - Shadyside Dragway, Shelby N.C.

counting down the days till im stateside. If I leave here on time Ive got 2 weeks to bust my ass on making sure the truck will make it. Im down even if I get stateside the night before. It will be a hellova shakedown run.

Brett I may try to work something out if your going for the pre party to meet up on the road. Ill have a bed full of tools incase anyone breaks down along the way from our neck of the woods.

If i luck out and the truck is in good shape and I do have two weeks, I think ill be sanding and shooting the truck in one color. We will see. Im sure my wife Jamie is going to want to pick ur brain on some striping stuff Brett.

 

I figured id post this up here if anyones bringing parts to sell. Im looking for a set of chrome wheels for my pickup. 15x6 or 7 in the front and 15x8 in the back reversed. 5x5.5 bolt pattern and the chrome in driver shape. If anyone has a set they want to part with shoot me a PM and hopefully we can work something out!

 

We're getting close and the weather is starting to look nice! Time to get outside and work on the ride! Can't wait to see everybody at the show. Geargoyles 4 life!

hey curtis. my buddy jeff[safari tow] from charleston is on the cover of may HOT ROD mag. he'll be coming to shady side with us.

 

I saw that issue on a magazine rack but did not realize it is Safari Tow"s truck. Cool!
