There appears to be variations as to cost in different regions of the country. Around here the current construction boom/craziness has raised the cost on damned near everything and finding a contractor that actually knows what he is doing is a major hurdle.
I just got a quote to paint the interior of my house and the guy wanted $100 an hour. Like thats gonna happen....absolute crazy.
