this was a hair under 20 total, paid an expert for the hardest parts and to learn, it can still be done with a little elbow grease and some evenings.....

Nice man! I have a pretty beat one and I know I'm going to rely on a lot of help to bring it back from the dead.

Nice job!.....Do you have any pics of the body before you started working on it?...Looks like a old channeled car that I passed on buying (but should have bought) a few years ago

  23. Nice body, but isn't telling what you have in it sort of like announcing how much you or your parents make?

I think it was in reference to the recent closed thread about the cost of the new repro 32 5w body....about the same money, I think.

Or I guess it could serve as a lesson for us all to realize that you can save a body and still be in at around what a good body costs these days. Instead of searching for a body that's in mint shape or what you think is in good shape you can start with some real shit and slowly pay for the body and it's repairs. I don't think it's a real secret that '32 bodies require a bit more cash then others so at least this give a benchmark for some of us to save up for right? Not all of us can have $200 bodies hahahahahaha!!!! Damn you!!!!

Check the SEMA threads alchemy. There a company that should have them done by next year. Chinese Stamped but they said the metal thickness is just as or thicker then the original. I don't know how I feel about it but I do know I love to see old ones brought bak from the dead!
