rears are radial 30.5 tall, 10.5 wide on 15x10 ansens, yes the white lettering will be coming off. will have a second set of wheels 16x10 ansens with some pie crusts as soon as I sell off more of my stuff to keep this going. 2017-3-7..005.jpg 2017-3-7..007.jpg 2017-3-7..009.jpg

I picked up a couple 409 longblocks a few years ago from a couple of my customers {I do heating and a/c} 1st one was a complete 63 425hp motor that owner pulled out with less than 5000 miles on it in 65 in favor of 396 that was from a crashed vette. then a year later I found another 409, this one a 1965 truck motor out of a dekalb il county truck. was a nasty greasy mess laying in customers garage floor. just sold hi perf motor to fund 409 truck block {656} blower build.

I can't help but drool over this sheet metal work in the interior of your Willys. The transmission tunnel and the shifter housing is a work of art.

What years of Olds and Pontiac had the rear end you want? I have a full size 55 Pontiac parts car and I think I still have a 54 98 Olds 4dr down in my storage lot. Both have been setting on the ground for at least 10 years so who knows what condition they are in.

1958-1964 olds/pont 9.3 fullsize is the years that are desirable. the one I have shortened and that is in the willys is a olds/pont 9.3

Car looks very nice. Some excellent fabrication being done. I just completed a long build on my coupe. Keep thrashing on the car summer is coming. Love the updates. Dave

Great job all around. It is builds like this that make the HAMB really enjoyable. Your attention to getting it right reminds me why it is so important to pay attention to detail.

So happy to see a Big Pontiac/Olds rear housing!! The best for an authentic gasser build and with Fabcraft's supply of parts there is no reason to cave in to peer pressure and use a Ford 9".

Awesome car! The only way you could improve it would be to park it in my garage. ;)

been kinda slow on the project. but got the mock motor and trans in so I can start on a couple more things like redo on steering. we set it up for the sbc and it is a no go on the 409 due to cyl head interference. 2017-04-09..001.JPG 2017-04-09..003.JPG

a couple with the front end on. will have to add a blocks under springs to get front end back up in the air as the 409 is making it sit about 1 1/2 lower. 2017-04-09..004.JPG 2017-04-09..005.JPG 2017-04-09..007.JPG

Wow! What a great job you're doing on this beauty. I let my all steel 41 get away years ago when the family got larger. Keep the pics coming
