I am putting original 40 ford 16 inch wheels on it with 700's in the back with 450's in the front. I've mocked it up and the combo looks killer. I'll have pics up soon. Whoo hoo this is fun.

Zombiehut...you love the skinny wheels I know it.

Bought that issue of Popular Hotrodding new, still one of my favorite 33-34 3Windows. This should be a great build to follow, keep up updated.

Thanks alot fellas, good to hear from ya Tuck.

Got the rad back from the shop today, salvaged the tanks but put a new core in it and took 3 inches out of the total height. Leaned it back a few degrees and mocked up the car again. Motor mounts next.

Front posts are taking shape and I got the diff put together. The buggy spring is at the shop getting some special treatment. Muhahaha.

Outstanding stance and a wicked chop!
I dig the leaned back post treatment done by cutting the cowl. It leans the posts back without the dogleg shape that happens on 33/4's when the posts get leaned back (which always reminded me of Model A roadster windshield stancions that have been leaned back). You've got a very nice approach with the chop and the entire car. Keep us posted!

Busted my butt on the chassis this week. Had to bend the hangers on the 47 axle bells to fit the model A spring. fits like a glove now though.

Was wondering if anyone has an idea where I can get these gauges rebuilt or retro fitted for 12 volt. The speedo works fine but the other two are shot. Love the look and don't want to change it.

If I'm not correct ...... Classic Instruments can rebuild & update them to function like new .... try www.classicinstruments.com or 800/575-0461. They are out of Boyne City, Mich.
    Hope that helped.

    Nice build.

Hey guys, just some updates on the 33. finally got around to chopping the interior mouldings. Ran some exhuast and started mocking up steering. She's starting to take shape.
