Starting my new 31 Ex. Cab Diesel Truck

Some pics of my new Hot Rod, 1931 A extended cab Hot Rod Diesel Truck.
I will be running a 4bt with a Turbo 400 transmission and a 10 bolt with a 2.41 rear and 31'' tall rear tires. (looking for good mileage) And some nice road trips.

There have been some good builds here using the 4bt. Keep us posted.

 

I love how diesel has been slowly making it's way into the HAMB culture. This is the 3rd or 4th car I've seen that's gonna use a diesel mill and it's really cool.

 

I am doing a Diamond T and considering same diesel. Someone posted this link that was helpfull to me - good build string. Thought you might enjoy it too. Luke

Updates: I found my rear tires, 33x9.5x15 new and cheap, some pics of the turbo swap. slow but sure.

 

This is going to be cool.

 

Should be scary fun and get ridiculously good milage too - a 4BT moving a model A is like you or I moving a piece of paper.

 

Cool plan! I'm a little in diesel mode too. Been lookin for a 4bt but good luck in Canada, not many around. I've got thoughts in my pumpkin on a little diesel/ 5 speed ride...

is that the set up out of the bread van with the one piece flexplate cover/ tranny pan? looks like a good build got any pics of motor mount ideas? there is a thread of a 30's sedan with this set up on here.
