starter for y-block

    hi i,m putting my 58 ford back on the road we got the new y-block in and the starter is shot i have a starter from a stick y-block the end are driffrent but it fits in block will it work or due we have to change the bendix?

    find out that the early y-blocks had a coil spring type bendix and the later ones have a gear type has nothing to due if its a stick or not who knew the y-block learning goes on and on

    Try a FE Starter 1970 Ford with a 360-390 CI Napa part #2449622
