.......... but haven't finished the first. Ain't that the way it goes though? My Fleetline is giving me engine trouble, so, while I ponder what to do with it I tinkered around with the Poncho today........ I went out and looked at it and noticed one of the tires blew out just sittin' there, so I decided to put on the wheels, tires and caps that I'd collected for it. It made a huge improvement to the looks. Then, I put some brake fluid in it and bled the brakes out good. The guy I got it from said that it still had a leak in the right front but I didn't see one. I also double checked to be sure that it had new hoses and lines, wheel cylinders and shoes like he told me it did.....and it does. Seems to run really good too. It starts right up everytime........ As of right now, I've got $225 in it including stuff that is not in the pictures (windows, gaskets, etc.) I guess I should've left it alone, cause now I wanna put it together and drive it......
Definitely windows and interior next......... I was thinkin today, it would look cool, red-oxide with white top and scallops........ but not set to paint job yet. Definitely gunna lower it......
That paint looks desent, and I like the color. Clean it up try to get the scallops to cover the blemished and paint the roof. what's under the hood?
The yellow that is on it now is a 2K primer that was on it when I got it. Still needs a little more work on the front and back(mostly back). Under the hood is the original 389 with 53K on it........
