I have a slant six for my 38 Plymouth, and it has a cam shaft with a 450 lift, I am told that I will need a stall speed converter of 3000....What do you guys think ?

where did you get info from?

  4. 450 isn't a ton of lift not even for a 6 cylinder, how much duration, tight LSA or??? What's the rest of your build like?

Did you get the info from the cam company or? a 3K stall converter is going to me be needed if your engine doesn't start climbing up on the cam until about 3K is why I am asking.

convertors and camshafts are probably the most poorly chosen parts on a car.
